Job Description

  • Organize and conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Document business requirements and validate them with the client and EY team.
  • Organize, execute, and document technical workshops and meetings.
  • Use tools and methodologies to interpret complex data sets.
  • Document current processes and propose improvements or efficiencies.
  • Create visual workflow charts or other visuals to aid in decision-making and understanding.
  • Consult on, draft, and maintain process documentation and end-user training documentation.
  • Collaborate with the EY team to conduct mini pilots or feasibility studies with the client.
  • Build and manage and verify the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Design, develop, and execute unit and user acceptance testing for ESG digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with the EY team to evaluate potential ESG digital solutions for business requirements, feasibility, cost, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the EY team to develop recommendations that align with client business goals and ESG requirements.
  • Assist in planning, monitoring, and reporting project progress to the EY team and client.
  • Ensure the project stays aligned with the agreed business requirements, objectives, and scope.
  • Collaborate with the EY team to manage scope changes and maintain documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other important project documentation.
  • Support managers and senior managers with project management activities (e.g., resource and budget planning, monitoring, reporting), business development, and practice management.
  • Stay updated with relevant business and industry trends to provide maximum value to the client's business.

To qualify for the role, you should have for following experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, engineering or related fields.
  • 4-6 years of experience within IT Consulting and Advisory services space or relevant industry experience.
  • 3-4 years experience in using or implementing IT platforms, preferably in the area of ESG/sustainability, such as Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Enablon, IBM (Envizi), ServiceNow, IsoMetrix, Cority, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages including Java Script and SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with data modeling and data architecture for integration with third-party applications is a plus.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik sense is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of combined experience with ESG reporting (such as GRI, SASB, etc.), ESG metrics assessments (Scope 1, 2 or 3), Risk/Control design/process mapping, life cycle assessment (LCA) or impact measurement (ESG).

Required Skills

  • Ability to contribute to various Sustainability IT consulting engagements, including but not limited to, supporting ESG software selection processes, as well as execution of the implementation of IT platforms in alignment with client expectations and ESG/sustainability goals.
  • Ability to provide input and advice regarding technology requirements for solutions in the ESG and sustainability services.
  • Skills and experience in Agile project management in a cross-functional team
  • Expertise in developing requirement traceability matrix (RTM) and business processes in the context of ESG digital.
  • Knowledge and experience in ESG data governance, effectively ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of ESG data sets.
  • Strong relationship management skills with an ability to establish productive relationships between various leaders, departments, and partners across the organization.
  • Ability to provide input and advice regarding digital capabilities and define technology roadmaps for solutions in the ESG and sustainability services.
  • Strong communication skills for preparing intricate business cases and proposals.
  • Strategic thinking and solutions oriented with an ability to develop and create innovative solutions.
  • Comfortably interface and communicate with clients daily.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $70,000 to $110,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
