Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience working in an Opthalmic Lens technical environment, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in ophthalmic lens design or a related field.
- Experience in optical design software such as Zemax or Code V.
- Knowledge of ophthalmic lens manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Understanding of geometric, aberration theory, and ophthalmic optics principles.
- Familiarity with ophthalmic lens materials (e.g., polymers, polycarbonates, high-index materials).
