AWS Nitro, ENA, EFA, Graviton and F1 EC2 Instances, AWS Neuron, Inferentia and Trainium ML Accelerators, and in storage with scalable NVMe, are some of the products we have delivered, over the last few years.Key job responsibilities- Utilize data to root cause hardware failures and identify live trends on the most complex systems in AWS
- Implement and improve system level testing across the product lifecycle
- Develop software which can be maintained, improved upon, documented, tested, and reused
- Dive deep on issues at the intersection of hardware and softwareA day in the life
As you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture, you’ll create metrics, implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root cause of software defects. You’ll also:
Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Work in a startup-like development environment, where you’re always working on the most important stuff.

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby

- 3+ years of experience designing, validating, or debugging, one of the following hardware areas: PCIe, HBM, Power Management, I2C
- 3+ years of experience with one or more scripting language: Bash, Python, Lua, Perl
