Job responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Minimum 10+ years of hands on experience.
• Ability to design and architect distributed systems and micro services architecture in AWS Cloud.
• Design Server less application components using AWS services – Lambda, S3, kinesis, SQS, SNS, Dynamo DB, Route 53 etc.
• Proficiency in one of the modern programming languages; Python, Java, JavaScript etc.
• Working knowledge of Database technologies (RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL)
• Able to design and develop applications on public cloud Environment (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Jules, Version Control tools (Git/Bitbucket)
• Ability to rapidly build proof-of-concepts and evolve them into large-scale solutions
• Experience in development and design of Rest APIs

• AWS certified developer/Architect is a big plus
• Cloud Contact center (Amazon Connect) is a big plus
