As a Product Manager within the Acquisition & Enablement Platforms team, you will lead our development teams in defining and refining product backlogs, influencing problem-solving approaches, and delivering impactful solutions. You will focus on understanding customer needs, leveraging your advanced knowledge of product development, design, and data analytics. You will be a self-starter, comfortable building new technology, interacting with customers, and ensuring all work is built as expected. You will play a significant role in automating product features and building a self-service enablement platform, facilitating growth across all customers.
Job responsibilities
- Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities reflecting current and future customer and market needs.
- Plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
- Leverage knowledge around Kafka events to define innovative solutions promoting self-service and automation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Kafka event-based architecture in the account opening context.
- Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics, including work to time, cost, and quality targets.
- Write requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
- Communicate effectively and frequently, sharing the product vision with partners and stakeholders.
- Be a center for knowledge, connecting curiosity and knowledge to teams that can effect change.
- Be a Technical and Customer Problem Solver, understanding functional and business use cases and applying innovative solutions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
- Possess proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle and expertise in agile methodologies.
- Demonstrate working experience and deep understanding of subjects like Kafka topics, schemas, topics, metadata, and lifecycle management using events.
- Have experience in tools like schema registry, Kafka streams, event-driven architecture, and ecosystem tools.
- Lead product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
- Develop knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
- Exhibit natural curiosity, troubleshooting, and service interaction.
- Prove ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrate prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Engage in product management, problem solving, and platform products.
- Possess data management capabilities and experience with tools like Splunk and Adobe Analytics.
