As a .NET Backend Developer Advocate, you'll play a crucial role in driving adoption of AWS services among .NET developers. You'll be responsible for creating compelling content, engaging with the developer community, and showcasing best practices for building cloud-native .NET applications on AWS. Key responsibilities include:- Develop and deliver technical content including blog posts, tutorials, sample code, and documentation focused on .NET application development on AWS
- Create and present workshops, webinars, and conference talks demonstrating AWS solutions for .NET developers
- Engage with the .NET community through social media, forums, and events to provide guidance and gather feedback- Stay current with latest .NET and AWS technologies, integrating new features into your advocacy workA day in the lifeDiverse Experiences

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET, focusing on creating performant, scalable applications
- Familiarity with cloud services, especially those relevant to backend development (e.g., containerization, serverless, managed databases)
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with experience delivering technical content to developers of varied backgrounds.
- Experience with AWS services, especially those that enable .NET development
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Demonstrable experience engaging with developer communities, including creating technical content, public speaking, or active participation on platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, or developer forums.
- Willingness to travel as required.
