As a senior software engineer in the Test Engineering R&D Department you'll be responsible for developing software systems and tooling for the testing and verification of RF Filters and Modules.
Working closely together with the department's hardware engineers you will make a major contribution to the delivery of well integrated and maintainable systems.
You'll be working together with colleagues worldwide (esp. China, Singapore & San Diego) to ensure that our systems and tooling meet the current and future needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain C# / .NET based measurement software and related tooling.
Identify, analyze, design and implement new features/requirements in cooperation with users and subject matter experts.
Contribute to the design and development of the measurement software platform and related tooling part of the SW development team.
Write and maintain relevant documentation as required.
Work closely with colleagues in multiple time zones to ensure successful and timely feature delivery.
Skills/Experience:
Professional experience (5+ years) developing in C# and the .NET framework on the Windows platform.
Experience developing standalone 'backend' applications & frameworks.
Experience in developing 'semi' real time applications.
Experience developing with WPF, PRISM.
Experience working in an agile software development with continuous integration / testing & unit test driven development.
Experience working with configuration and release management systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Redmine).
Fluent in English.
Skills/Experience:
Experience in developing measurement applications.
Experience in Python, C and C++ design and development
Experience in library and application development on Linux platforms.
Knowledge of UML
Knowledge of Jenkins.
Knowledge of vector network analysis and spectrum analysis.
Knowledge of VISA and SCPI.
German language skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
