What you’ll do

GenAI has emerged as a transformative force in society, and has the ability of creating, mimicking, and innovating a wide range of domains. This has implications for enterprise software and ultimately SAP.

Join our international multi-disciplinary AI team, where you will be working closely with Architects, Data Engineers, UX designers and many others. You'll be immersed in an environment that fosters innovation, with plentiful opportunities for personal growth and continuous learning.

Your responsibility as a Full Stack Developer is to:

• Design and build stable and scalable AI based solutions, PoCs and first versions of new products & features.
• Iterate rapidly experimenting with GenAI, developing both front and backend components.
• Contribute to development, testing, and deployment under the guidance and mentorship of experienced engineers. Participate and contribute to the design and architecture. Participate in the code reviews.
• Work alongside colleagues in a cross-functional team to develop and deliver modular, reusable components, ensuring they can be seamlessly integrated across a diverse array of cloud technology environments.
• Explore and assess new technologies in the field of generative AI, LLMs, AI-augmented development, tools, and infrastructure to evolve existing highly used functionalities and services in the cloud.

What you bring

• Engineering graduate with at least 3+ years hands-on experience in designing and building cloud-native applications, microservices, web-applications.
• Skilled with at least one strongly typed language. Experience developing both backend (e.g. TypeScript/Node.js) and frontend (e.g. UI5/React) components.
• Commitment to clean, scalable code and robust API design, with knowledge of Domain Driven Design and BTP tech stack.
• Ability to keep pace with GenAI technology shifts and solve problems creatively within a diverse team with different expertise backgrounds and perspectives.
• Familiarity with data-centric languages (Python), SQL databases (e.g. SAP HANA Cloud, PostgreSQL), and data modelling is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
