Collaborate with project manager and other design engineers to develop robust, safe, and efficient electrical designs for industrial equipment
Evaluate and select between various forms of industrial control system hardware to meet machine specific requirements, such as PLCs, I/O, motor controls and network devices
Create electrical and pneumatic schematics and bills of materials using EPLAN Electric P8
Design custom industrial control panels, including layouts and calculations for loads, heat, and SCCR, and interface with panel shop during the build
Manage tight schedules to ensure that control panels and critical commercial parts meet the project build schedule
Support assembly and debug operations by providing direction on electrical assembly and troubleshooting issues that arise during build
Potential to travel to the Tesla factories to assist with installation and startup
