This team provides specialist lead advisory services on the following:

  • Mergers & acquisitions
  • Divestitures
  • Privatizations
  • Joint Ventures/Strategic Alliances
  • Capital raising
  • Capital Markets • Corporate Restructuring.
Brand Building
  • Create and manage strong independent relationships with Corporates (on the sell sideand large strategic), VC & PE at senior positions with minimal partner involvement, expand client base with new wins and conversions (both existing and new clients)
  • Build strong external networks. These must be leveraged for building and growing thefirm's business
  • Participate in building the brand of the Firm and the practice

Industry Knowledge

  • Deep expertise of emerging industry trends and business models
  • Strong knowledge of player landscape, strategies and key differentiations-includingvaluation drivers
  • Understanding of the key deal imperative and M&A strategies
  • Comprehensive understanding of the deal activity in the sector and deal driverswithreference to PE/VC investors
  • Strong knowledge of the key terms and deal structures with reference to PE/VC investors
Risk Management
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, plans and activities with minimalpartner involvement
  • Manage sensitive and high-level risk issues
  • Proactively resolve (with Partner support) risk issues in delivering service to clients
Skills and attributes for success
  • 8-10 years of relevant post qualification experience
  • Should have experience in closing deals. (M&A & Capital raise)
  • Extensive experience of developing pitches independently
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial modelling and valuation
  • Knowledge of deal structuring- commercials (both strategic & PE/VC)
  • Deal origination track record and demonstrate relationship with strategic and PE/VCinvestors
  • Have good working experience of financial analysis and strategy
  • Strong Financial Modelling & Analytical skills
  • Positive attitude and high commitment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Business development
To qualify for the role you must have

MBA (preferably from a premier institute) or CA with a good academic backgroundwith 8-10 years of relevant post qualification experience

Ideally you’ll also have
  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
