The Finance Data and Experiences organization (FD&E) builds scaled solutions that enable Microsoft to run its end-to-end business more effectively and efficiently. FD&Ewithin the business and has strong delivery partnerships across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering. As aSoftware Engineer, you will have an opportunity to work with the latest cloud technologies to build industry-leading business management solutions for your customers. In this role, you will work with Azure, Synapse, and other cloud-native platforms to help architect and develop a suite of future-state analytics capabilities.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to,Python, C++, DAX, C#, Excel, DAX, Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, and SQL
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for building highly scalable, reliable, cloud services, and data.

• Ability to communicate technical details clearly across teams.

• Analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design.

• Experience building cloud services on Azure

• Familiarity with Finance data and business rhythms

• Experience with or exposure to Agile and iterative development processes.

• Ability to ramp up quickly onnew technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Web API.

• Assess, recommend, and adopt relevantnew technologies, tools, and processes from Microsoft and industry.
