The Purpose of the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- The role should have basic technical knowledge and hands on experience on Honeywell Modular system portfolio like DCS, PLC, Safety System, RTU, Software etc
- Establish Professional relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction including supporting on technical support and training as needed for the system integrators.
- Support sales in technical presentation to potential new customers and system integrators covering ModularSytems and as required the larger PMC Portfolio (Field Instrument, Terminal, Fixed Gas etc)
- Work with sales to ensure that Project proposals are supported with right technical solution offering along with proposal deliverables eg. Risk/Opportunity, estimate, Project Execution Plan, schedule, cost estimates.
- Price and work with internal stakeholders to arrive at the recommended Sale Price and support business leader to seek price and margin approvals.
- Ensure that the baseline project documents are produced, maintained, made available to all parties concerned and effectively used (managing the project)
- Support the business leader with Demand planning team for planning on Material and Engineering resources (FO and BO GES) requirements monthly
- Manage the process of scope definition and change control, including as needed the estimating of contract/scope variations (change orders)
- Identify important potential risks (technical or other) during bid, and ensure that risks are mitigated and opportunities are realized
- Expand our Domain Knowledge within Operations and ability to deliver One Honeywell Solutions
- Role out lessons learnt within HON community including sales and estimation
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent. With 8 years field experience in automation covering PLC, RTU, Hybrid Controllers DCS and Safety systems.
