**This role can be based in any of EMEA cities where AWS has an office**Within SMGS, as a Partner Development Specialist (PDS) for GenAI Apps, you will have an exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to accelerate adoption of AWS GenAI through Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Solution Providers (SPs).As the EMEA genAI applications leader, you will own mechanisms of a fast growing subset of the top layer of the AWS genAI stack for partners building on AWS genAI services such as Amazon Bedrock or specialized chips to offer ready-made applications to customers looking to buy, not build.
Key job responsibilities
1. Partner Identification and Recruitment: Identify and onboard must-recruit SaaS/ISV partners and leading SIs developing leading genAI applications on AWS in the AWS Partner Network (APN).
2. Partner Enablement and Competency Development: Bring the right applications providers to the genAI competency and provide thought leadership to the ISV & Start-up teams on "whitespace" opportunities for partners based on apps/solutions supply versus use case demand.
3. Go-to-Market Strategy: Identify top use cases for applications across verticals and horizontals, connecting back to the AWS genAI 3-layer approach, and help the field discover Partner solutions and applications against these use cases.
4. Solution/Use Case Discussions: Lead solution/use case discussions with partner executives and Line of Business (LoB) buyers from ideation to go-to-market.
5. Partner Sales Enablement: Work with Partner Sales, creating the right interlock between customer demand and partner solutions/applications to ensure the best match.7. Ecosystem Growth: Continuously identify and pursue growth opportunities for the genAI applications partner ecosystem, staying ahead of market trends and customer demands.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping AWS's GenAI applications strategy, enabling our partners to deliver innovative, ready-to-use solutions that leverage the power of GenAI. You will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation across various industries, collaborating with cutting-edge partners and AWS teams to create impactful customer outcomes.About the team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
- Strong personal network within the AI/ML and software application partner ecosystem.
- Experience in specific industry verticals or horizontal use cases relevant to genAI applications, including understanding of AWS services and usage models, specifically AWS AI/ML Services
