Job Description:
As a Staff Full Stack Engineer on the Quantum team, you will design, develop, and maintain both backend and frontend systems, leveraging AWS for cloud infrastructure and modern tools for seamless user experiences. You will lead architectural discussions, mentor team members, and contribute to both technical strategy and execution.
On the backend, you’ll work with Node.js and GraphQL, integrating AWS services like SQS, Lambda, and DocumentDB. You’ll build user-friendly interfaces on the frontend using React, TypeScript, and Chakra UI. Your work will focus on ensuring system scalability, optimizing CI/CD workflows using AWS CDK, and driving best practices across the team.
Your day to day
• Backend Development: Design and implement robust APIs and services with Node.js and GraphQL, integrating AWS tools (e.g., SQS, Lambda, DocumentDB).
• Frontend Engineering: Build intuitive and performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Chakra UI.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and deploy scalable, event-driven systems leveraging AWS services andtools like AWS CDK.
• Full Stack Leadership: Lead the technical design of features across the stack, ensuring best practices in architecture, code quality, and system reliability.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
• Automation and CI/CD: Maintain and enhance automation workflows to support efficient and reliable deployments.
• Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align technical solutions with business goals.
What do you need to bring-
Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in full-stack development.
• Frontend Expertise: Strong knowledge ofJavaScript/TypeScriptand modern frameworks (React preferred).
• Backend Skills: Proficiency in server-side development with Node.js and GraphQL.
• AWS Knowledge: Extensive experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, and DocumentDB, and proficiency with AWS CDK or similar tools.
• Cloud-Native Design: Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and scalable cloud systems.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor engineers effectively.
• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
