Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 7+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in planning process and/or systems (such as SAP, Kinaxis, O9 etc); business intelligence (SQL, Power BI etc).
  • 2+ years of experience with supply chain or planning process design.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related equivalent field.
  • Knowledge or demonstrated experience in supply chain planning processes and planning system architecture.
  • Leadership:Be an expert at leading cross-functional teams on complex projects with many variables; Proven track record in delivering change, process improvement.
  • Personal Attributes: Proven problem-solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills; Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Generating clarity: This is one of the most important aspects of what we do. Our job is to align everyone on the same plan and keep them there. This requires constant communication and diligence to squash any ambiguity; Able to simplify and summarize complex concepts to engage with broader audience.
  • Proficient at creating and analyzing business information and defining key business results/metrics with a proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL and PowerBI.

Responsibilities
  • Own end to end process design for demand, supply, inventory, CapEx, and life cycle planning for Network Hardware
  • Partner with Engineering teams on enabling capabilities for Network Hardware planning processes
  • Partner with key stakeholders – MCP peers, CSCP stakeholders, Finance, and Azure Networking to ensure alignment of planning processes and handoffs between teams
  • Define appropriate measures and metrics for Network Hardware planning processes
  • Partner with MCP Center Of Excellence (COE) team in India to enable/automate the metrics for Network HW
  • Define monthly Rhythm of Business (ROB) for planning process and ensure timely handoffs to stakeholders
  • Host monthly metrics review for Network Hardware Planning – Demand, Supply, Inventory, CapEx and Life Cycle Planning metrics
  • Coordinate with MCP business operations and ensure readiness of Network HW metrics for monthly and quarterly MCP and CSCP metrics review
  • Coordinate with MCP business operations for monthly and quarterly Business and Strategy Reviews – update on Network Hardware Strategy and Transformation program status
