The Content Manager will play a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of Product associates by managing, curating, and sharing learning content that enhances employee skills and knowledge. This individual will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and a designated group of learning champions to ensure content is relevant, timely, and engaging for the learner audience. Additionally, this role will focus on creating opportunities for social learning and collaboration through digital channels like Slack while maintaining strong communication with both learners and stakeholders. They will also be responsible for crafting these communications and social learning experiences–aligning the content to the appropriate persona(s) and digital channel(s).
Content curation and management:
Identify, review, and curate high-quality learning content from a variety of sources, including internal subject matter experts and external vendors.
Ensure that content aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and learner needs, providing recommendations for additional learning opportunities.
Regularly assess the relevance and effectiveness of curated content and update materials as needed.
Learner engagement & communication:
Employ “pull through learning” by fostering an environment of social learning and encouraging employees to discuss and engage with shared content through platforms like Slack.
Establish feedback loops with learners and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and relevance of the learning materials.
Work closely with the logistics & delivery lead to ensure alignment on messaging and proactively identify opportunities to combine/amplify efforts between your content portfolios and audiences.
Learning Champions Program:
Establish and manage a group of learning champions, who will assist in the promotion and socialization of learning content within their teams or departments.
Provide ongoing support and resources to the learning champions, ensuring they are well-equipped to advocate for and encourage participation in learning initiatives.
Content prioritization & scheduling:
Monitor engagement metrics and feedback to adjust content schedules as necessary, ensuring the right materials reach the right learners at the right time.
Metrics and continuous improvement:
Track and report on key engagement metrics, such as participation rates, feedback from learners, and effectiveness of social learning efforts.
Leverage data and learner feedback to continuously improve the content curation and sharing process, ensuring alignment with evolving organizational needs.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 1 year of experience in Learning & Development, communications, content design or content strategy or a combination.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Learning & Development, communications, or a content design or / strategy role.
Experience with content curation in a corporate learning environment.
Knowledge of learning and development best practices, especially in relation to social learning.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design concepts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
Familiarity with social learning tools (e.g., Slack) and learning management systems (LMS).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, learners and external content vendors.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage content release schedules across different platforms and for different audiences.
Data-driven mindset, with experience in tracking engagement metrics and using feedback to drive improvements.
