In this role, you will be at the forefront of helping our customers understand and implement the refactor approach to application modernization. You will work closely with customers to assess their existing applications, identify opportunities for improvements, and develop comprehensive strategies to rewrite and optimize their systems using AWS cloud technologies. Your expertise in microservices architecture, containerization, APIs, and AWS services will be crucial in guiding customers through the process of breaking down monolithic applications into scalable, flexible, and efficient cloud-native solutions.Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases. You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate customers about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).Travel Requirements: This role may require up to 30% travel.

- 3+ years of software application design and development experience
- 3+ years experience architecting solutions built on AWS
- 3+ years operating in a modern DevOps operating model
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
