Responsibilities:

• This role is for SRE - Site Reliability Engineer in SH site, the job is to make the technology solutions in this space work resiliently, automated, controlled and with proper capacity (among other items). Additionally, the candidate is also responsible to be able to code in python on automation solutions.
• Monitoring and Alerting Strategies
• Understand the monitoring tools that are available for the application. Implement alerting based off prior incidents. Ensure that each alert has an action and does not cause alert fatigue. Implement the capture of data that can be used in managing SLI and SLO metrics.
• Automation, security, integration, and Compliance adherence
• Implement automated technical solutions to eliminate manual tasks, ensuring all source code is properly maintained and deployed via proper CICD pipelines including automated testing. Coordinate upgrades to remediate vulnerability concerns.
• Capacity planning and scalability expertise
• Ensure that the application has the proper resource allocation to support the current load. Implement configuration changes to manage application Memory, CPU, etc for proper application execution.
• Cross Functional Collaboration and Leadership
• Partner with all teams including Production Support, Application Support and Application Development to gain SME knowledge about the entire application ecosystem. Implement best practices (tools and processes) as defined by the SRE Center of excellence and share knowledge with other groups about the benefits.
• Incident response and network proficiency
• Partner with Production Support to provide support, escalation, and communication for production incidents and interact with an array of teams to remediate the issue. Escalate issues that are breaching MTTR goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies like k8s
• Experience with observability solution like Grafana, splunk, elk.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Ability to program using python.
• AI/ML knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of SDLC development methodologies is a plus.

Education:

• Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE, Mathematics or related majors * With Financial knowledge or background is a plus.
