JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate sales, and procurement contracts for the IA (Industrial Automation) business in the Latin America region.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies during contract review and negotiation.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to set and manage expectations regarding contract review and negotiation processes.
  • Follow established processes and guidelines for contract approvals and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Integrity and Compliance contract guidelines and requirements
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal clients regarding contract-related matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support contract review and negotiation processes.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of contract-related processes and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
  • Enable continuous improvement
  • Train and Mentor others, including on the use of software for contract management (LEAP).
  • Resolve and settle disputes.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (Certified).
  • 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating major commercial contracts in a multi-national corporation or law firm.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
