Role Responsibilities
Define the long term product vision and technical strategy of Atlas IAM at MongoDB
Contribute towards IAM industry standards and trends
Mentor and grow teams and team members
Candidate Profile
12+ years experience of software engineering
Deep and strong experience within identity and access management (IAM) systems, in particular authorization, OIDC, OAuth, SAML, FIDO, SSO
Proficient in a modern compiled programming language (Java, Go, C#, C++, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Works independently by defining, communicating, and executing against your top priorities and focuses
Proven successes in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and highly available distributed systems
Excitement to collaborate with colleagues and mentor fellow engineers
Curious, collaborative, empathetic, and intellectually honest
Experience with AWS required; GCP, and Azure a plus
Success Measures
In 3 months you’ll have acquired a mature and thorough understanding of our existing architecture
In 6 months you'll be taking an active role in defining and driving the short and long term roadmap of our product, providing deep technical guidance and design expertise
In 12 months you’ll be a deeply respected mentor for our team and all surrounding teams, advocating for and on behalf of the IAM organization
