The Role

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. They will need to have a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who can exercise good judgment and significant initiative. An ideal candidate will have a passion for communications and understand the media landscape.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the day-to-day administrative needs of three directors on the US Communications team. Maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings both internally and externally/booking large department events/meetings and offsites.

  • Organize domestic and international travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, and vehicle transportation.

  • Keep Netflix media center and newsroom updated with relevant information about upcoming initiatives and announcements and assist with general press queries, issues, and troubleshooting.

  • Update and manage press lists.

  • Help staff in-person photoshoots and events and support special projects as needed.

  • Manage vendor set-up and track invoices.

  • Organize and cascade weekly team reports and updates.

  • Prepare expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Research and consolidate data into memos and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years as an executive assistant or administrative assistant, and BA/BS Degree preferred

  • Prior experience supporting publicity/marketing executives (studio/entertainment/ agency) is preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask

  • Proficiency in Google Suite: Gmail, GCalendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Groups, MS Word/Excel

  • Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information

  • Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Team-player who operates in a fast paced team-oriented setting

  • Displays professionalism in communication with internal and external partners

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 - $240,000.
