This position ensures that Procurement has the capability to meet the innovative and digital technology needs of the organization. The individual possesses a skill set that supports the business respond to internal and client-originating data solutions through a strong understanding of the use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
- Provides data analytic solutions to a variety of problems of significant scope and complexity for a functional department.
- Performs data mining, spend analytics, ad hoc reporting, creating and displaying data results via sophisticated dashboards.
- Develops, manages and improves BI and reporting framework and processes.
- Serve as a data analyst for Project Delivery and Procurement and work with our Global Business Services resources.
- Support Global Procurement Excellence projects.
Here's what you'll need
Experience/Qualification/Competencies
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and/or summarizing large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions.
- Excellent skills using database and office suites (Excel incl. advanced graphs, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
- Supply Management and Procurement general knowledge
- Data mining, data analysis
- Self-starter capable of working independently, with exceptional problem solving & critical thinking skills, and great attention to detail.
- Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change.
- Effective oral and written communication with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audience across Business and Technical teams, and the confidence to present to senior leaders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects with tight deadlines and aggressive goals.
- Experience with data modeling and visualization tools like Power Bi, Tableau, SAS is an asset
- Working knowledge of enterprise procurement systems (Oracle, SAP) would be an asset
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Administration, Mathematics or Economy
Representative Systems Utilized
- Microsoft Office 365 (especially MS Excel)
- Power BI
Skills / Experience (Preferred)
- Analysis experience in procurement
- Ad-hoc reporting and dashboard creation
- Systems background or systems oriented.
- Stakeholder engagement experience
- Can work remote in a global team environment.
- Subject matter knowledge of Project Delivery and/or, Commercial and/or Supply Management reporting
- Knowledge of Ariba system
