Who You AreExcellent quality is what drives you. To ensure this, you have a detailed understanding of distributed/centralized hardware architectures of routers/switches. Your concepts are strong and you have a good knowledge of L2, L3, and MPLS protocols and forwarding infrastructure. You possess the necessary skills to work in a highly collaborative, inclusive, and agile atmosphere in partnership with multi-functional teams.
If the opening is for the Services Team, you should have good knowledge about Network Security Protocols like IEEE 802.1x, IEEE 802.1AE, NAT, IPSec etc Having working knowledge in areas like QoS, Netflow and Openflow will help you quickly integrate with the team and its mandate.
Good understanding of bridging and routing fundamentals. Working knowledge of unicast and multicast packet forwarding for both bridging and routing cases. Good understanding on campus or enterprise network deployment architectures. Hands on experience in development of L2 or L3 control plane protocols like STP/RSTP,UDLD, IGMP, RIP/OSPF/BGP/ISIS, BFD, PIM/MLD. Hands on experience in configuring and solve data plane features in ASICs.
