What you’ll be able to do:

• Design and release CAD models for mechanisms.
• Develop and test new designs, ensuring they support current and future products.
• Iterate designs rapidly using your strong fundamentals knowledge in statics, dynamics and mechanics of materials.
• Write python/matlab code to collect, parse, and analyze large datasets.
• Collaborate with the design team to realize concepts, using rapid prototyping and performing necessary engineering calculations.
• Use engineering analysis and simulation to enhance product quality early in the design process.
• Prepare design documentation, including part and assembly drawings, for manufacturing.
• Support projects through tooling, testing, and manufacturing phases.
• Create and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Evaluate project costs, prioritizing design effectiveness and safety.
• Verify design accuracy and document processes.
• Manage bills of material and maintain accurate records.
