The project will be the Kingdom’s historic and cultural heart, proudly showcasing to the world Saudi Arabia’s 300+ years of history through an engaging and inspiring set of heritage, hospitality, education, retail and dining experiences for residents and visitors. It aims to be developed as an urban, mixed-use development inspired by the principles of both new urbanisms ensuring its main anchors rooted in its historic culture and heritage. Ultimately, the destination will include museums, galleries, restaurants, retail experiences, public squares, hotels, multiple recreational spaces, residences, educational institutions and offices.
- Survey Planning and Preparation:
- Develop comprehensive survey plans, considering project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct field reconnaissance to identify key survey control points and establish benchmarks. Field Survey Operations:
- Utilize advanced surveying instruments such as GPS and Total Station to collect accurate and reliable data.
- Perform topographic, boundary, and construction surveys as per project needs.
- Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of survey equipment. Data Processing and Analysis:
- Process survey data using relevant software, including AutoCAD, to generate precise maps and drawings. - Analyze survey data for accuracy and consistency, making necessary adjustments as required. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Provide clear and concise reports on survey findings and progress. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
- Conduct regular checks on field and office processes to maintain high-quality standards. Adherence to Standards and Regulations:
- Stay informed about relevant surveying standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and project specifications.
- Recent previous experience (within last 10 years) as a Land Surveyor for major infrastructure projects that are complex in nature and are ideally located in the Saudi region.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in infrastructure projects, particularly in Saudi Arabia. 5-10 years’ experience in site supervision and surveying is ideal.
- Proficiency in using GPS, Total Station, and AutoCAD for surveying and mapping.
