Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Divisional Information Security Office teams to ensure they have the tools necessary to support their customers

  • Participate in functional communities of practice to ensure consistency across Information Security Office teams

  • Develop and manage organization’s knowledge management tools

  • Improve and document critical business processes

  • Be a champion for the adoption of Agile principles

  • Be knowledgeable about Capital One’s Information Security offerings, policies, procedures and standards

  • Provide support on agenda and materials development and execution of Information Security Office and Department meetings and events

  • Day to day oversight of multiple processes and Information Security Office groups: monitor, report, and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives; identify process improvement opportunities and implement them through collaboration with other groups; make final recommendations for approval on changes.

  • Collect, analyze and measure process data, to initiate sustainable business practices and procedures and for reporting to senior leadership; review data for trends and gaps in the process that may require additional review.

  • Maintain formal process documents (e.g. procedures and diagrams), and document processes and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases, and diagrams).

  • Provide customer service and training to internal customers on specific processes they manage; may deliver presentations, including up to the executive level.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience

  • At least 3 years of experience managing, consulting, auditing, or working in the fields of information security, technology, or risk management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 4+ years of Project Management experience

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills

  • Work experience achieving results with complex projects
