As a Strategy Associate you will help lead project teams in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the company.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, execution, and operational support to the GT Chief of Staff.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for meetings, events, and projects, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
  • Oversee calendar management for senior leaders, optimizing schedules to maximize productivity and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partner with strategy and business service groups to streamline activities and enhance communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and deliver executive presentations for high-profile meetings and events.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to support decision-making and influence business strategies.
  • Document and implement standards and guidelines to ensure consistent execution of global strategic priorities.
  • Lead and manage ad hoc projects, taking on increasing responsibility and ownership, with a strong focus on follow-through.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience from either a premier management consulting firm, OR from an investment banking (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) division.
  • Diverse problem solving experience, such as experience with a top management consulting firm or in other generalist problem solving environments across financial services sectors
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules and ensure seamless execution of tasks and events. Experience in optimizing schedules for senior leaders to enhance efficiency and strategic alignment.
  • Skilled in designing and executing events to drive senior management engagement and foster collaboration.
  • Strong interest and skill in engaging in high-level technical conversations and strategic discussions.
  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), and work well in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills – and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, and achieve goals without direct control over resources
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong partnerships at all levels of the organization.

  • Financial Institutions Group (FIG) experience preferred
