Responsibilities:

Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:

  • Manages and performs complex/critical/large data analytics to develop insights or assess impact and create effective Senior Management-ready materials for presentations/reporting.
  • Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Securities Financing Transactions (SFT) Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) reporting.
  • Assists in setting business and information architecture standards, specifically for Securities Financing Transactions (SFT) Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) processes.
  • Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies.
  • Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs processes and applications.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions, with focus on Securities Financing Transactions (SFT) Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) processes.
  • Regularly interacts with peers within the firm.
  • Provides advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry and/or data analytics, highly preferred
  • Experience in any one area of Capital calculations (e.g. RWA, SLE, GSIB), particularly on RWA or knowledge of the RWA components related to Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) is highly preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with deep experience in data analytics to help develop data driven intelligent solutions into capital analytics processes.
  • Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.
  • Exceptional oral communication and writing skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and translate into "user-friendly" language for multiple audiences, including senior management, multiple internal constituents and regulators.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of information.
  • Enjoys variability in workload, particularly in a wide range of quantitative and non-quantitative projects.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Solid Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Knowledge and experience with Phyton or Tableau is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or other relevant technical fields, potentially with a Master’s degree
