- Develop and deliver the end-to-end EU sourcing strategy of vehicles, especially vans.- Negotiate commercial terms on C-level and build long-term relationship with suppliers.- Central EU ownership of suppliers including performance management and central escalations requiring leadership involvement.
- Challenge partners on timelines, quality of service and other potential bottlenecks.
- Use databases and analytical tools to make data-based decisions.
- Internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals.
- Communicate effectively so all stakeholders understand the direction and vision and are aligned.
- Proactively engage with all areas of the organization to identify inter-dependencies, mutually beneficial goals, and influencing leadership.A day in the life
- Maintaining existing supplier relationships and growing the partnerships through volume increases YoY, negotiating commercial terms and increasing supplier involvement in key initiatives.
- Conducting regular meetings with suppliers to ensure all are on track to deliver the offered volumes, as well as negotiating cancellations.
- Creating and closing work order contracts for volumes and services across the EU and ensuring they are compliant with Legal, Tax and Accounting standards.- Working with Global Corporate Procurement to enable best practices and efficiencies throughout the procurement process.
- Supporting leadership during reviews by providing status updates and offering solutions required for the monthly forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree
- Exceptional excel and data mining skills
- Experience dealing with external partners and with supplier negotiations
- Analytical skills, ability to evaluate trade-off
- Strong stakeholder management
