Your key responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and govern the implementation of our data reporting and governance strategy.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to define data governance and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the development of tools, methodologies, and processes to ensure the quality and timeliness of all data and reports.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with data privacy laws and organizational data standards.
  • Define metrics and relevant data points for business intelligence and create regular reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the product managers and CBS team to understand and leverage data sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Establish and facilitate data stewardship and data governance meetings across the organization.
  • Develop training and awareness programs to improve data literacy, data governance, and reporting knowledge within the organization.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the data governance and reporting team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and developments in data governance and reporting

  • Ability to translate Data Governance strategy into actionable deliverables for the team
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and international data protection regulations is highly desirable

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
    le, SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
  • Proven experience overseeing data governance and data reporting initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of data governance principles, data management standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience with data reporting, visualization tools, and databases.
  • Experience building and maintaining Subject Area, Conceptual and Logical Data Models
  • Knowledge of systems interfaces and data flows
  • Proficient with industry-standard, structured business analysis techniques (i.e., user stories, use cases, UML/logical modelling, BABOK, etc.) appropriately modifying according to the decided software development methodology (i.e., Agile, Iterative, SCRUM, RUP, Waterfall, etc.) in use.
  • Significant experience with Agi
