Be responsible for optimizing and improving various Application systems and handle outages, e.g. NetWeaver & Non-NetWeaver based applications, Containerized SAP Applications
Lead, onboard new solutions into Technical Operations and execute First time requests for new solutions in the ECS portfolio as a combination of hands-on work and coaching of more junior colleagues
Support troubleshooting in difficult customer situations of exceptional cases in a 3rd level support role as well as being involved in customer outages -This can include having to work on weekends or on-call
Create knowledge transfer and technical documentation, including technical operational concepts, process flows, and guidelines will also be part of your role
Be collaborating and aligning new concepts with international teams from within the organization and outside to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Be responsible for the technical management of strategic projects in the area of SAP NetWeaver & Non- NetWeaver based applications like BRIM, BOBJ, Cloud Connector, Web Dispatcher and for managing difficult customer situations
What you bring
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
Solid hands-on know-how with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver & Non- NetWeaver based applications like BRIM, BOBJ, Cloud Connector, Web Dispatcher
Previous experience in installing and configuring SAP technology-based systems
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience with SAP Gardener based Container Concepts, Technologies at Kubernetes & Application layer
Self Motivation & Self driven to learn new Technologies, Application and build expertise independently
Ability to lead efforts to simplify, document and disseminate Knowledge, guide to Automate to make the Applications scalable for Delivery
Basic know-how around database, filesystem & network routing
Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
Communication with customers on technical and operations topics, ability to handle escalated customer cases
Troubleshooting in difficult customer situations
Technical management of strategic projects in the area of SAP NetWeaver & Non- NetWeaver based applications like BRIM, BOBJ, Cloud Connector, Web Dispatcher
