As a portfolio-level role, primary responsibilities include technical team management and design aspects required to deliver successful digital data solutions across the business units.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
Translate and enhance business requirements into technical specifications for individual and holistic channel integration and understanding while also ensuring operational rigor of designed solution.
Liaise closely with Digital Strategy & Operations, supporting new omnichannel initiatives and establishing data operations standards, reliability, and consistency.
Drive definition of project scope, technical requirements, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration stakeholders while providing critical input on technical internal and external resourcing.
Coordinate with BIS Data Engineering to oversee and implement data engineering strategies and pipelines in support of multichannel/omnichannel initiatives across the portfolio.
As the Digital Data Solutions SME, work closely with business stakeholders to shape and translate business requirements to technical solutions, leveraging strong business acumen across the organization and strong knowledge of pharmaceutical omnichannel data.
Coordinate with BIS reporting functional teams to elucidate and streamline reporting and dashboards requirements for MCE/omnichannel standard and ad hoc reporting needs.
Drive the advancement of cloud digital data strategy through roadmap development and key partnerships with internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
10-12 years of overall experience in the pharmaceutical industry with omnichannel domain knowledge and experience specifically with HCP or DTC data architecture.
5+ years of experience building production-level data pipelines culminating in direct experience directing cloud data engineering internal and external resources.
Proven experience in implementing integration solutions for complex digital ecosystems, with a focus on pharmaceutical or healthcare industries required.
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical multichannel/omnichannel data and applied practices in support of HCP and DTC strategy, including knowledge of regulatory, compliance requirements, and commercial operations.
Proficiency in integration technologies such as APIs, ETL tools, middleware platforms, and data warehousing solutions.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
