Your key responsibilities

As a Resource Management Director, you will work as the Resource Management Leader for GDS Service Lines and will be responsible to supervise a large team of Workforce Management professionals, providing strategic thought leadership, subject matter expertise, liaison with senior leadership on resource management decisions, lead deployment strategies and drive compliance to RM guidelines for the assigned portfolio.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the annual financial planning process along with SL Operations and Finance of respective Service Line/s
  • Represent PSCM on GDS and regional Workforce planning governance meetings
  • Consistent delivery on defined KPIs, strategic goals and targets
  • Monitor the health of the business, track key metrics, analyse trends and provide analytical insights to the team and stakeholders
  • Create management systems for monitoring of health of resource management function for your respective SLs and drive continuous improvement programs across process, technology, and people aspects
  • Drive efficiency gains and FTE savings across resource management function
  • Build leadership capability across resource management teams in your span and enable meaningful experiences by encourage talent movements across teams
  • Lead transformation programs across people supply chain management domain
  • Partner with regional resource management teams to establish strong partnership with an objective of creating a seamless experience on demand fulfilment for GDS as well as member firms
  • Focus on deployment guidelines across GDS in line with regulatory compliances and ensure effective implementation
  • Create budgets for the team, drive performance reviews, define KRAs and goals for the team – Implement and track to closure
  • Build a high performing team. Develop people engagement and people development activities to create a positive work environment for the team

Skills and attributes for success

Postgraduates with over 20+ years of relevant workforce management experience. Understanding of skills in professional services industry, sales/deal life cycle, business models, operational and financial aspects of service delivery is mandatory. The suitable candidate should have excellent people management skills, great executive presence and the ability to deliver against tight timelines.
