As a Test Tooling Engineer for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems(ADAS), you will drive to refine and automate the replay and simulation test-based routines and accelerate the engineering flywheel to safeguard the quality and on-time delivery of our product.
What you’ll be doing :
Elevate the deployment of comprehensive simulation to assess autonomous vehicle performance, improving system scalability and ease of use, refining test architecture and developing pivotal tools, such as CI/CD & simulation pipelines.
Propel the creation of innovative simulation features that expedite debugging, testing, and assessment of Perception, Prediction, Planning and Control (P3C) software, including tools for algorithm replay and interaction with simulated agents.
Craft and calibrate performance metrics for P3C software, contributing to product integrity in terms of safety, latency, and software fortitude. Diligently supervise and scrutinize the critical metric performance of end-to-end systems and components across sophisticated scenarios, ensuring accuracy and consistency in challenging real-world scenarios.
Partner with autonomous vehicle component teams to comprehend their requirements and steer the technical direction for test tooling/scenario development, focusing on enhanced usability within our simulation environment.
Partner with in-house log replay and simulation team to synchronize autonomous vehicle development needs with innovative, end-to-end simulation capabilities, augmenting modules that mirror real-world driving experiences, and fortify the reliability of our simulation platform.
Partner with the dataset team to drive the automation of dataset curation and GT labeling processes to bolster critical metric/KPI computation.
Analyze intricate technical challenges across the stack, focus on reproducing issues encountered during road testing and independently pursue solutions.
What we need to see:
BS, MS, or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field or equivalent experience.
At least 5+years of development experience, preferably in the field of simulation automation and autonomous systems.
Proven track record in ADAS, autonomous driving, replay testing, or simulation environments. Experience in developing/using autonomous vehicle simulators and their workflows, especially model-based development and testing workflows.
A validated grasp of software testing methodologies, including but not limited to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, paired with hands-on experience in automated testing frameworks and tools.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages with Python, C++, Shell, Typescript.
Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies, applying tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and savvy in build systems like CMake, Bazel.
Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization and orchestration platforms.
Basic understanding of data science and SQL language.
