Job Description:
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 1 day per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops and reviews project plans and ongoing work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality and risk reviews, and proactively take mitigative steps to reduce the potential impacts of risks.
- Manages multiple E911 projects of low to high complexity.
- Serves as a liaison to the customer’s Program Management Team and internal staff for deconfliction and coordination related to assigned projects.
- Participates in Program Management meetings and process improvement updates for the Navy 911 RMS Program.
- Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet all project deliverables.
- Coordinates and communicates with stakeholders at all levels.
- Develops presentations to provide project updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools including Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and Project
- Manages the procurement of equipment, software and services required to support the Navy 911 RMS infrastructure.
- Provides financial analysis of internal labor and procurement expenditures against the Program baseline budget.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Self Motivated
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with very specific data.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to travel throughout the Continental United States, Guam and Hawaii as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 4+ work years of related experience or a High School Diploma plus 8+ years of related experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Technical background in 911 technology.
- Knowledge of computer systems and software.
