JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
7 years of experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
Experience with litigation, regulatory or corporate investigations, including addressing, minimizing, and avoiding regulatory risk.
Experience with high risk incident response, and developing, evaluating, and maintaining programs that ensure products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitments.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience engaging with regulators, including data protection, competition, or consumer protection authorities.
Experience developing, evaluating, and maintaining programs that ensure product compliance with laws, regulations, and external commitments.
Experience working with public company boards, including special committees and audit committees.
Experience with managing projects and partnering with cross-functional teams.
Experience working with technology companies, with the ability to understand technical issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills, with attention to detail.
