ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced materials characterization and analysis to support both Manufacturing Operations and R&D initiatives.
  • Additionally, this role requires the ability to learn to develop automation solutions and data analytics tools to streamline lab processes and enhance data interpretation.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with Process Development Teams to integrate and correlate process outputs with characterization data, fostering a holistic understanding of material behavior and performance.
  • Good technical acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate technical information sufficiently are essential for this position.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering or Physics, including fresh graduates
  • Understanding of material properties, phase diagrams, and microstructural analysis, ability to connect material properties with process parameters and outcomes
  • Basic understanding of Materials Characterization for example: FIB/SEM, TEM, EDX -- Experience in FIB is great advantage.

PREFERRED:

  • Basic understanding of statistical methods, including DoE and regression analysis.

SKILLS:

  • Capable of communicating in English, good communication skills for effective teamwork and presentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking
  • Programming and Scripting: Knowledge of Python and/or SQL is a plus
