Job Responsibilities:
- Translate documents English < > Spanish
- Provide editorial review of English < > Spanish translations
- Manage translation project deliverables
- Use and suggest resources updates when needed (translation memories, term bases, style guides)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2+ years of experience English < > Spanish Translation and editorial review
- Native fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish, including great command of grammar
- Ability to relay the tone and style of the original language and follow style guides
- Familiarity with translation memories, terminology databases, and computer-assisted translation software
- Mastery of financial, business and legal terminology
- Must pass the written Spanish proficiency test conducted by the recruiter and hiring team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in related field
- Project management experience, including a strong ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Effective organizational, self-motivated, detail oriented, and leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Translation Certification (i.e. ATA) strongly preferred
