The Edge + Platform Health + Standards Engineering team is hiring a Culture Program Manager to drive and support our Microsoft Quality Culture program. The program aims to empower every Microsoft team and employee to deliver high-quality products and services for our customers. At Microsoft, we know that customer trust depends on our ability to reliably support a broad set of mission critical workloads. Retaining, growing, and acquiring Azure customers depends on our cloud’s resiliency and reliability. The program has evolved and scaled in alignment with organizational priorities, customer needs, and Microsoft's all-up quality strategy. Our focus on Quality Key Results and Quality Critical Services has allowed the organization to learn and scale quality improvements for all services through the development and adherence to common engineering systems standards. The Quality Culture Program directly supports these technical and operational investments by driving behavior change and enabling strategic culture transformation.

The Culture Program Manager (PM) will lead will manage the Quality Culture Program and work closely with our Quality Champs community and Quality Council to evolve the program. The Culture PM will seek feedback from quality leaders to ensure charter is in alignment with FY quality priorities and OKRs and continue to improve operations of Quality Stars Program through quarterly retrospective feedback from quality leaders and program participants. The Culture PM will also conduct retrospective analysis on the impact of the Quality Culture Program elements and develop and implement change management plans if needed and/or to further evolve and scale the footprint and impact of the program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years work experience in program management, project/process management, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+years’ experience working with engineering, HR, operations, and stakeholders.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+years’ experience working with engineering, HR, operations, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record for identifying gaps and opportunities and implementing plans successfully.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience writing and communicating with executives.
  • Cross-functional project management and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to respectfully influence, motivate, negotiate, collaborate, and partner with multiple stakeholders across all levels of authority and leadership.
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications.
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, highly matrixed, ambiguous business environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity to do the right thing, with high executive presence.
