Description
As an Automation QA Engineer in the SPEAR team, you will be qualifying a variety of SPEAR-developed features. This will include: - Develop comprehensive feature test plans to ensure the feature achieves its goals without regressing functionality, performance, power, or stability. - Implement new tests when needed to achieve adequate coverage. - Automate end-to-end and unit-level testing.- Manage automated testing and triage test failures.- Report on testing status and follow up to ensure regressions are addressed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Software skills with automation languages such as Python and Swift
  • Demonstrated experience creating tests that identify deep software bugs
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively about technical topics (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of iOS and/or macOS QA experience
  • Comprehension of XCTest framework
  • Analytical skills to independently perform first-level triage on test failures
  • Meticulous approach to understanding, documenting, and completing test requirements
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
