As an EY oil & gas supply chain and operations professional, you’ll use your analytical insight to drive our oil & gas clients’ global business performance. Working as part of a high-performing team, you’ll deliver exceptional client service and help leading organizations improve their planning, design, procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, fulfillment, operations and services processes, within the oil and gas sector.

Your key responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing one, or more, high-performing engagement teams at an executive level within the practice and the firm. You can expect to work with high-level client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance specific functional areas within your specialized area of supply chain.

  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in your functional area of supply chain. Demonstrate ability to quickly learn new processes and uncover new offering that may assist current customer base.
  • Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams by delivering constructive on-the-job coaching to team members, while fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Drive high-quality work within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Build relationships with client personnel and deliver quality client services. Strive to assist our clients uncover additional areas of opportunity and manage the business development process.
  • Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to serve clients.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree
  • About 5 years of experience in supply chain consulting environment
  • About 4 years of recent experience with within the oil and gas industry
  • Guide teams with your Oil & Gas category knowledge to include drilling and completions equipment and services
  • Bring your expertise, focusing on logistics, strategic sourcing, manufacturing efficiency, planning, network design, logistics, managed services or supply chain analytics
  • We would expect for you to be available to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 80% of the time. Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree focusing on engineering, supply chain, and/ or business
  • Deep knowledge in one of the specific areas of expertise: strategic sourcing, category management, warehouse and network design, manufacturing efficiency, product lifecycle management, demand planning and outsourcing consulting.
  • Approximately 4 years of recent supply chain consulting experience, focusing on the oil and gas industry

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,100 to $233,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,500 to $264,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
