As a Business Sustainment Operations (BSO) Associate within JP Morgan Workplace Solutions KYC Operations you will contribute to executing audit response deliverables, control testing, and risk management initiatives. This position requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of quickly assimilating complex information across multiple client facing/operational teams and driving issue resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external audit/exam teams and key business stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Oversight & Control, Business Initiative Leaders, project teams, and Technology, to coordinate audit requests and responses.
- Conduct research and document current state processes/controls, perform GAP analysis, and identify key areas of risk or concern.
- Develop testing calendars, test scripts, and execute control testing and action plan sustainability testing.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare documentation, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to inform them of key milestones and accomplishments.
- Create and support various management reporting tools, including scorecards, weekly executive summaries, and other executive reporting needs.
- Maintain a governance and reporting structure to ensure objectives are clearly defined, deliverables are documented, and team members remain engaged and on track with target deadlines.
- Manage and escalate issues and risks, ensuring timely resolution and communication to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services/banking industry, with a proven track record in risk and control management, operations, and project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive results and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of risk management techniques from both detection and mitigation perspectives.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, influence stakeholders, and create executive-level reporting.
- Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and informed risk-taking, with the ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently.
- Analytical skills with the capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture.
- Consultative approach, understanding and anticipating business partner needs, and proactively delivering solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a rapidly changing business and technological environment. Proactive control and risk management mindset, addressing gaps in processes and escalating issues to benefit the business and clients.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent military experience.
