This job leads complex engagements with PayPal product teams to ensure new products meet card network guidelines. Risks and requirements are provided to internal stakeholders to enable adherence.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify issues and recommend best practices for risk management within the organization.
• Lead functional projects and programs that enhance risk assessment and mitigation efforts.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze business trends and their implications for risk management.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance the effectiveness of risk management strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in executing risk management initiatives.

Expected Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Expertise in payment network rule and scheme release protocols.
• 5+ years working in a card acquiring environment.
• Maintain the central repository and governance structure for receiving, tracking, prioritizing and communicating card network requirements to product managers as part of the PayPal Product Change process.
• Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to evaluate product changes and impacts to payment network obligations.
• Provide network compliance subject matter expertise to our payment solutions teams, making recommendations to ensure compliance with network requirements whilst always keeping consumer experience at the heart of that approach.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $100,500 to $173,250
