Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting Issue Quality Control for technology, including ensuring that issue content meets policy / standard requirements and validating the effectiveness of risk mitigation actions.
• Works closely with business partners on technology issues to make recommendations on improving issue content and remedial actions
• Examines procedures for consistency and gaps relative to requirements of upstream risk programs and the issue management policy, standards and procedures. and identifying stakeholder impact.
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members on the issue management process and quality control requirements

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years relevant work experience in Technology Risk & Controls
• Expert knowledge of issue management requirements and principles
• MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic a plus.
• 5+ years’ experience in financial services.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organizational influencing skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvements

• Bachelor’s/Universitydegree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
