The Data Risk Team within the Firmwide CDO is responsible for working with LOB/CFs, Compliance, Controls, Legal and Technology to ensure that the Firm’s Data Risks are managed in line with Legal, Compliance and Business requirements.

As a Vice President in the Data Risks Team within the Firmwide Chief Data Office (CDO), you will be responsible for supporting the Firmwide Initiatives related to Data Retention and Destruction, Data Protection, Data Use and Data Classification

Job Responsibilities

  • Establish the scope and prioritization of data risk management initiatives related to Data Retention and Destruction, Data Protection, Data Use and Data Classification
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to maintain and align Firmwide Data Risk Procedures and Guidelines to Legal and Regulatory requirements
  • Work with LOB/CFs to identity and prioritize requirements for tools that support the remediation of Data Risk; define and design tool requirements for development teams to implement and maintain Product Backlogs
  • Work with Technology Partners to develop Product Roadmaps and support Testing and Release activities
  • Develop Training material, including online training courses to support Data Risk education and tooling
  • Maintain and develop Metrics related to measuring the status of Data Risks
  • Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities
  • Develop strategic presentations for senior audiences

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven track record of strong program management delivery within a Risk Management environment
  • Experience of Agile Development methodologies; partnering with Development teams to deliver tools and solutions
  • Experience of writing and editing Standards, Control Procedures, Guidelines and Training materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts, and solutions at the senior management level.
  • Excellent strategic and interpersonal skills, comfort with working and partnering with people at all levels and across all functional areas (Legal, Compliance, Controls, Technology and Operations).
  • Experience in developing or maintaining Risk, Program or Operational Metrics
  • Ability to manage complexity and multiple work streams while delivering solutions within a tight deadline.
  • Ability to proactively monitor the program to identify and address issues early.
  • Proficient with project management tools and PC Skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
