Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial clients, providing tailored financial solutions to meet their business needs
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding the bank’s portfolio of loans, deposits, and other financial products for commercial clients
Ensure that all commercial banking operations adhere to regulatory requirements, risk management policies, and internal controls
Collaborate with other departments including Risk, Credit Liability Management and Product Partners
Stay current on current industry trends within the Retail segment to identify opportunities
Qualifications:
10+ years of Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Investment Banking experience with preference for those having experience in the Consumer & Retail segment
Active FINRA Licensing or ability to obtain (SIE, S79, S63)
Self-starter with a team player mindset- proven track record of sourcing and originating new client relationships while providing an excelling in risk management for the bank
Ability to cross sell commercial banking products and services (FX, Trade Financing, Deposits, etc.)
Demonstrated strong level of credit skills with capability to assist in deal structuring
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g., negotiation, consultative skills and leadership)
