Minimum Qualifications
  • Engineering degree or equivalent required; BSME Preferred
  • 2+ years prior product development experience in project management or mechanical engineering design
  • Detailed knowledge of product development process and cycles
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interfacing with mechanical engineering/design, operations, and vendors
  • Experience setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills. Able to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oriented toward teamwork
  • Self motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Understands and able to handle rapid development cycles well; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
  • Ability to travel internationally to support builds
  • Any of the following is also a plus:
  • Experience in consumer electronics
  • Experience as a practicing engineer
  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
