Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging and/or maintenance of software systems. Works on specific modules, applications or technologies, and deals with sophisticated assignments during the software development process.

• • You will be part of R&D and Deployment team of Amdocs charging product – high performance cloud-native system built in C++ and Java with advanced technologies.
  • You will work with the newest technologies in our dev/deploy chains - Kubernetes, Docker, RESTful services, Kafka, Postgres, Hadoop, BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible…
  • You will take part in designs, develop, modify and maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications
  • You will Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes (analyze and fix bugs) and workarounds, review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions
  • You will be exposed to external customers across the globe and their charging solutions and products.

• • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field
  • Good knowledge in Object Oriented Design and development.
  • At least 7-8 years' experience in CPP backend development – C++ is mandatory
  • Equivalent work experience with Linux and gdb
  • Have good working knowledge for shell scripts. Python is an advantage and you need to be open to learn it
  • At least 1-3 years of experience with cloud native environment and building DevOps pipelines – incorporating Kubernetes and the deployment pipeline tools that supports it (Jenkins, Helm, Nexus, Ansible , Consul etc..)
  • Experience with persistence models such as IMDG, RDBMS and NoSQL – Apache Geode, PostgreSQL, Hadoop - At least one is mandatory and you will be required to learn others.
  • Experience with microservice architecture and technologies around it like.
  • Kafka is advantage.
