As the Regional Cyber Defense Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Oversight the Cyber Defense function in GCA region.
- Define and implement a Cyber Defense framework in GCA region, align with the Global Cyber Defense Strategic while addressing local Cybersecurity regulatory and compliance requirements. (e.g. MLPS, CBDT, PIPL … etc.)
- Lead the design and operation of effective coverage, identify, hunting and response to Cybersecurity incidents across the organization in GCA region.
- Establish and maintain KPI based security posture monitoring.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Plan and direct security operations for special events and high-risk scenarios, ensuring adequate preparation and crisis management protocols are in place.
- General global Cyber defense and security architecture counterpart alignment
- Coordinating with IT and business counterparts to manage Cybersecurity threats and respond to cyber incidents.
- Acting as regional security command and control focal point and oversight regional threat detect and Security Operation Center (SoC) management, threat hunt and response management, and Vulnerability Management in the region.
- Providing leadership and guidance during crisis situations, including coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage regional security technical solutions and attack surface.
- Liaise with law enforcement and other external agencies as necessary to address security incidents and investigations.
- Manage the function, training, and performance evaluation of security personnel, ensuring a highly skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Secure and monitor the necessary budget and investments to deliver the mission.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Eight years of Cybersecurity management, SoC management, threat hunting and incident response in large companies. Experience at leading consulting firms is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiar with ISO 27001, NIST, MLPS, Mitre Att&ck and other security norms, standards & frameworks.
- Hands on experience in dealing with Cybersecurity threats and incident response, familiar with leading Cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
- Excellent language skills in both English and Chinese, in both written and verbal.
