The role would primarily support Aircraft Life Support Systems andEnvironmental Control Systems but may also be required to support otheraircraft systems & equipment. The role would be located at a customersfacility in Ankara and the Mechanical Systems Engineer willbe expected to work both independently and within a cross-functional teamenvironment. The successful candidate will be a customer technical andprogramme point of contact and will be required to interface with globalHoneywell resources. Occasional travel to Honeywell sites may be required.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-ordinate the review and negotiation of customer requirements and customer changes / modifications
  • Support Honeywell requirements management activities, including system and equipment specifications and related validation and verification activities, and co-ordinate discussions with the customer when required.
  • Support the generation of customer DRL submittals, for example interface control documents, system descriptions, etc.
  • Co-ordination of DRL submissions and resolution of customer comments
  • Liaising closely with other Honeywell functions, including Project & Programme Management, Design, Test, Analysis, Reliability & System Safety, Electronic Controls, Chief Engineers and Manufacturing as and when necessary.

YOUMUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Systems Engineering. However, other relevant degrees or equivalent qualifications would be considered along with experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mechanical systems engineering design and development.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic or mechanical system design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in requirements management, validation and verification
  • Have a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills
